Chickpeas that said, “hey we can be crisps too”. Cheesy, crunchy and oh so moreish. And honestly… they nailed it. Crunchy, cheesy, a little smokey, and wildly snackable straight off the tray.

- Chickpeas420 g
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Parmesan, grated½ cup
- Paprika½ tsp
- SaltTo taste
Method ⏲️
Golden roasted chickpeas with crispy edges and cheesy coating.
Step 1: Preheat & Dry
Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a tray with baking paper. Drain and rinse chickpeas, then pat them very dry with a paper towel (this helps them crisp up).
Step 2: Time to Season
Place chickpeas in a bowl and toss with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp paprika, ½ tsp onion powder, and salt. Add ½ cup grated parmesan cheese and mix until chickpeas are coated.
Step 3: Roasting Time
Spread evenly on a lined tray and bake for 25–30 minutes, shaking the tray halfway through, until golden and crisp. Let them sit to crunch up further. Break apart and enjoy!
