It’s banana bread… but not how you know it. Soft, rich, and unapologetically fudgy, this is the loaf that gets sliced “just to try it” and somehow disappears in seconds.

Ingredients 🛒

- Ripe bananas, mashed3
- Plain flour190 g
- Baking powder2½ tsp
- White sugar150 g
- Large eggs2
- Unsalted butter, melted115 g
- Vanilla extract1 tsp
- Salt½ tsp
- Dark chocolate chips100 g
Method ⏲️
Chocolate, banana, and zero baking stress. This loaf is soft, rich, and perfect for breakfast... or dessert.
Step 1: Prep and Preheat
Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease or line a 23cm x 13cm loaf pan with baking paper. Take a small bowl and mash your 3 ripe bananas using a fork. Set aside.
Step 2: Mix Your Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together 190 g flour, 150 g sugar, and ½ tsp of salt. Set aside.
Step 3: Mix Your Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk 2 large eggs, 155 g melted butter, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Stir in mashed bananas.
Step 4: Combine and Bake
Fold wet into dry just until combined; fold in 100 g of chocolate chips. Pour into your pan and bake 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a rack and try not to demolish the whole thing.
