  • Corn flakes500 g
  • Milk chocolate400 g
  • Unsalted butter75 g
  • Thickened cream100 g
  • Chocolate speckled eggs1 bag

Method ⏲️

A fast-assembly showstopper that tastes like a chocolatey cloud with a delectable crunch.

Step 1: Prepare Your Cake

Line a 20x7cm cake tin with baking paper. Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the packet instructions using the eggs and milk. Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake as directed, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool slightly before moving on.

Step 2: Make Your Ganache

Place the milk chocolate, butter and thickened cream in a heatproof bowl set over gently simmering water. Stir until smooth, glossy and fully melted. Remove from the heat and fold through the corn flakes until evenly coated in the chocolate ganache.

Step 3: Assemble & Bake

Spoon the crunchy ganache mixture over the baked cake and spread evenly. Roughly chop the chocolate speckled eggs and scatter them over the top. Let it sit at room temp for 10–15 mins before slicing and serving. Bon appétit!
