  • Olive oil2 tsp
  • Smoked paprika1 tsp
  • Salt1 tsp
  • Brown sugar Optional

Method ⏲️

Snack time, sorted. Just toss, roast, and crunch.

Step 1: Oven prep

Preheat your oven to 200 °C and line a tray with baking paper.

Step 2: Dry the Chickpeas

Tip out the liquid and pat 420 g chickpeas dry with paper towel. The drier they are, the crispier they’ll be in the oven.

Step 3: Season

In a mixing bowl, toss the chickpeas with 2 tsp olive oil, 1 tsp smoked paprika, and 1 tsp salt until evenly coated.

Step 4: Roast

Spread on a lined baking tray and roast at 200 °C for 20–25 minutes, gently shaking halfway, until golden and crispy.

Enjoy as is, or sprinkle 1 tsp brown sugar for a sweet and salty combo.
