  • Beef mince500 g
  • Onion, diced½
  • Garlic, finely diced3 cloves
  • Thyme1 tbsp
  • Paprika1 tbsp
  • Wraps2
  • Shredded cheese½ cup
  • SaltTo taste

Method ⏲️

Seasoned beef wrapped in tortillas and baked into crispy kebab-style slices.

Step 1: Prep Your Mince

Preheat your oven to 200°C and line a tray with baking paper. In a bowl, mix 500 g uncooked beef mince, ½ diced onion, 3 cloves of finely diced garlic and 1 tbsp of thyme and paprika.

Step 2: Fill Your Tortillas

Place 2 wraps flat on a board. Spread a thin, even layer of the mince mixture right to the edges, pressing it down gently so it sticks. Sprinkle over ½ cup of cheese evenly.

Step 3: Assemble Your Tortillas

Starting from one edge, tightly roll each wrap into a log, keeping it compact as you go. Press lightly at the end to seal. Using a sharp knife, slice each roll into 4 pieces. Push the pieces onto skewers, cut-side facing out and packed snugly together so they hold their shape while cooking.

Step 4: Time to Bake

Place your skewers onto your lined tray and cook for 20 minutes until cheese has melted and wraps are deliciously crispy. Enjoy!
